This is one of the many beautiful views from the front yard of the grounds where this year's CFV was held:
Today is the last day of CFV.
By now, the CFV Lottery has taken place, and all of the leftovers from the week have been divided up and won by the family groups. By now, the cabins have been cleaned of any CFV traces from the previous week.
By now, the Families Portraits have been taken.
This is the photo of the Family Tree in the making; I can't help thinking what a wonderful Bottle Tree it would make:
And, as tired as I am today -- from both lack of sleep and new drugs, and as tired as Kevin is from said same, we miss being there.
Make nice!

What is sitting on top of the rocks in the view picture? Birds?
*nods* Seagulls.
And we were thinking of you the entire time...I haven't checked what Ellen wrote earlier, I think she was going to write something..but you were toasted with spinach balls...now that doesn't happen very often does it? Everyone had a great time, a little beach time, some rousing games of wiffle ball, some hiking through state and county parks, petting zoo for the appropriate ages, biking, a trip to see Guys on Ice, a trip for others to the outdoor theatre, lots of fishing and chasing kids, and wonderful food and company. You both were missed!!! Katie
Katie, sounds like it was another wonderful time!
*makes note about the 'Spinach Ball Toast'*
What kinds of things were on the menus? Are we up to seven course meals yet??
...Guys on Ice...*heh*
Thanks for taking time to check in!
