Diana's been doing vertigo since Monday, and throwing up for the last two days, so we've canceled cataract surgery for tomorrow.
I talked to Dr. A's nurse this morning, and Zofran seems to be helping the nausea, but not the vertigo. We'll check in again with her tomorrow morning.
We're both pretty tired, so all you get is this terse report.

Great movie, lousy sensation. What causes this, do you think? I will check in late today for the traditional Friday afternoon happy hour, but obviously, if you're all dizzy, I'll stay out of your way.
Hope dp is feeling better already.
I had a chance to visit with Kevin and Diana on Friday and DP is patently miserable. She relates that Vertigo is not just a descriptive symptom, but is caused by crystals forming in the fluid of the middle ear, wreaking havoc on balance, creating nausea and what appeared to this onlooker as general misery.
I tried to be entertaining as I could and eventually Kevin helped her to bed, whereupon I gave him a friendly thumping at football.
While it's nice to know that this has nothing to do with cancer (she's already had this before. . . imagine!)it's a drag that DP only got one weekend of overworking in the yard before this hit. There appears to be nothing for it but to take strong, sleep inducing medication, and . . . wait . . . it . . . out.
I know I join your freinds and family in sending the best karma I can muster.
Thanks for the update C-man. I'm sending along some balancing Karma, too.
I've dealt with it too, as has dad...it sucks. I play soccer with a woman who gets it severely every October with barometric pressure changes (who knew?)--she says avoid salt and caffeine.
I wouldn't imagine a water bed is the most comfortable thing to sleep on if one is also dizzy...yikes. We're all thinking really ggod thoughts! Love, Katie
From the looks of it, I prefer to be a spectator. S.
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning
